Bryen & Bianca | Milan Destination Anniversary

Bryen and Bianca’s Destination Anniversary session in Milan was absolutely stunning—the stars aligned for a perfect night with a beautiful couple!

Destination Anniversary sessions like this are incredibly special to me not only because of the chance to go somewhere new and exciting but because of the friendship I share with Bryen and Bianca. I’m always honored when friends ask me to do their photos, and even more so when it’s someone like Bianca, who is a wedding planner with Estera Events . Bianca works with so many photographers and vendors that I know how much of a compliment it is that she trusts me with her own pictures!

These two high school sweethearts were married two years ago this week, so last year, when their first anniversary was coming up, they decided to plan a trip to Italy. Magically, the dates aligned so that I was out in Italy as well, and we had ONE day that perfectly lined up where we would be together in Milan. After all, when your own trip overlaps with some of your best friends’, you know there just HAVE to be pictures!

While we were in Milan, we stayed at the Senato Hotel Milano, and their super cute patio and striped lobby made it into our shoot. From there, we wandered the streets of Milan—and whenever the inspiration struck us, we would stop for pictures.

And there was plenty to be inspired by! The romantic vibe of Italy itself flowed through every single image we took. From little alleys to the tourist-filled Duomo, it was hard not to feel like I was photographing movie stars with the bright, beaming smiles these two gave me paired with the backdrops out of the silver screen.

Bianca & Bryen, I’m so glad that we were able to meet up for the day and get these amazing photographs for you! Happy anniversary again to both of you—and thank you for your continued love and friendship.
