Kate and David’s New England estate wedding was a scene out of a fairytale. On this early June evening, the vibrant green ferns and trees on Kate’s parents’ property created a picturesque background for the ceremony and portraits. Kate stole the show in her lace dress and the couple’s smiles and love lit up the space.

I love when I get the opportunity to reunite with old friends and celebrate their special day. Kate and I met in Santa Barbara and almost 10 years ago. There are a lot of miles and many years between us, but when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was beyond excited. When I arrived at her childhood home it was like no time had passed.

The location holds significance for the couple not only because it is Kate’s childhood home, but it is also where they got engaged (on the bench under the tree)! Some of my favorite wedding moments happen before the “I do’s”. As the couple got ready in their respective spaces, they shared many laughs, hugs and cheers. The beautiful home was the perfect location for Kate’s getting ready photos. Kate and David were married on the lawn of the beautiful New England estate where they were brought together with a unity ceremony and cheers from their closest family and friends.

After taking portraits, the party continued in an open tent where they toasted, ate cake and danced the night away! Everyone brought their best moves to the dance floor! From the neutral color palette that accentuated the lovely estate to the elegant copper centerpieces and purple accents to the stunning cake, everything about the day was flowed beautifully!

Kate and David, I wish you the very best in married life! Your love for each other radiated throughout your wedding and I know that it will continue to shine throughout your life together. Cheers!
