Boise Engagement Session | Mandy + Matt

During Mandy and Matt’s Boise Engagement session, I couldn’t help but smile. Their love for each other is infectious and their playful personalities made the engagement session so much fun!

Mandy and Matt’s 21st century love story began with Match.com three years ago. They immediately hit it off on their first date (pizza in Burlington, VA) where they spent 4 hours laughing and sharing stories. They couldn’t wait for their second date. From that point on, they were inseparable. Since then, they have moved to Boise for Mandy’s residency program. Together, Mandy and Matt enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, cooking, traveling and hanging out with their 2 cats and ADORABLE silver lab, Odin!

I met Mandy and Matt a few years ago when I photographed her sister Jenna’s wedding. They are seriously THE sweetest family! I was thrilled when Mandy and Matt started planning their Vermont wedding with Megan from Northshore Weddings and Events. During their Boise engagement session, they wanted to capture their love and life in Boise.

It was a quick 24-hour trip for me and I would love to enjoy more of Boise someday. Despite an early storm, our evening session was rain-free and beautiful! I love shooting sessions like Mandy & Matt’s where the couple smile and laugh often. From the way Mandy and Matt look at and laugh with each other, it was clear that they were meant to be.
