NoMad Hotel (and Bar, of course!) – Located just north of Madison Square Park (hence the name) this hotel is totally awesome, the decor throughout is gorgeous yet approachable. It is walking distance to all of our favorite neighborhoods, restaurants and bars. Also, the bar is not to be missed – seriously amazing and unique cocktails!

Bonnie Slotnick Cookbooks – We first found Bonnie’s store because we actually lived on the top floor of her building in the West Village. I mean what a perfect place for a young culinary student to live above. She has the most amazing selection of books old and new. If there is a rare cookbook you want to find give her a call and she will locate it.

Gramercy Tavern – Well, like I mentioned, Cosmo worked at Gramercy Tavern in 2007 and it was basically his first introduction to authentic Farm to Table cooking. The Chefs would head over to the farmer’s market and create a menu around what was available. Gramercy has definitely inspired Cosmo’s cooking and the food there is absolutely amazing.

Central Park – Obviously, no trip to NYC would be complete without a stroll through Central Park. Acres and acres of gorgeous landscape and architecture. It’s the perfect spot to sit with a coffee and relax.

BONUS: Toasted Wedding Event – If you are getting married in New York this is the Wedding Show to go to. Located in Brooklyn (I think they do it twice a year) and totally awesome. They have super cool vendors and have actually just started expanding across the nation!
