A smoothie a day

Last month, I started (and finished) reading a book, 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess, with a small group of women. Not only did we read the book but we are implementing the topics of the book into our lives. The month of September was Food month… in the book the author only ate 7 foods, however most of made 7 healthy changes. I can honestly say I did a terrible job on the food month, but I did walk away with a healthy habit! One of my 7 healthy changes was to eat more fruits and vegetables, the easiest and most delicious way for me to do that was to make smoothies. I basically just throw a bunch of fresh fruit and veggies (kale, I pretty much just love all things kale) into our industrial blender and 15 seconds later I have a delicious treat…

My favorite is Kale, Granny Smith Apple, Lemon Juice, avocado, yogurt and a couple ice cubes, but his morning I made a Kale, apple, blueberry smoothie… yummy! Benny thought so too 😉

What is your favorite smoothie recipe or combination? I LOVE trying new things =)

    Oh that looks so yummy! You’re going to have to teach me to be more adventurous with kale 🙂

    My favorite smoothie is frozen bananas, greek yogurt, espresso powder, flax seed, chocolate syrup, and milk. Definitely not as healthy as yours!! But it has lotsa protein at least haha
