I am so excited to share Heather and Johnny’s Chicago Engagement Photos with you!!! I met Heather and Johnny about six months ago for our first meeting at Zed451… over Blood Mary’s. Already a beautiful beginning 😉 We hit it off right away and I knew we would be a fantastic fit if they decided to choose me. This gorgeous couple and I were connected through Beth from SQN Events – she is so good at matching couples with the right vendors for them. And she’d just plain awesome and creative.

A few days later, we made it official and they booked me to photograph their upcoming wedding – in January, somewhere MUCH warmer than here 😉 We had planned to do a session up in Lake Geneva, but last minute we decided that they really wanted to capture their lives in Chicago since they are having a destination wedding. I met up with Heather and Johnny downtown to capture their Chicago Engagement Photos. We started in the West Loop and ended right downtown at the Wrigley Building.

How adorable are they?!? Heather is the manager at a clothing boutique in Chicago so I knew their outfits were going to be perfect. I mean seriously, check out her shoes!!! They are so much fun.

We finished their Chicago Engagement Photos at Oak St Beach for a little foreshadowing 😉 Yes, they are getting married on a beautiful beach and I am thrilled to be photographing it.
