Brian and Lucy’s Chicago Engagement Session was so much fun, but as you know, the weather in Chicago can be a bit challenging…  We got off to a great start during our session in June, we walked around their west loop neighborhood and pulled their adorable English Bulldog, Oscar, out for a few (though he was quite hot). We watched as storm clouds started to roll in, but we thought we would be able to beat them. Lucy went back to the apartment to change outfits quickly and the storm broke.  Broke in a bad way – not a good way…. crazy wind and rain. So we called the session and rescheduled. A few times. Oh, Chicago!

We finally scheduled our additional shoot for a beautiful day and I am so, so glad we waited. I mean, seriously, how freaking cute are these two. We headed to Lincoln Park for part two of their Chicago engagement session. There are so many wonderful locations within walking distance. The light was also lovely… warm, beautiful, dare I say California-esque. Oh, how I wish it were always so gorgeous!!!

We ended our evening on the lakefront taking in the city. Lucy and Brian, thank you so much for your patience with the weather, I hope it was worth it 😉 I am so excited for your wedding!!!
