Sarah and Joe’s Oak Park engagement session couldn’t have been better. We met up at a park in the middle of Oak Park and (thanks to Sarah’s mom) were able to take some great photos of them and their adorable dog Raleigh! I am not sure what was cuter, his chalkboard sign with the couple’s wedding date or his mini tuxedo, thoughts?  Sarah’s mom took the dog back to their apartment and we hopped in our cars and headed over to Thatcher Woods. Thatcher Woods is absolutely one of my favorite places for an Oak Park engagement session or even family session!

Sarah and Joe did a great job with their outfits. For engagement sessions, I always recommend a minimum of two outfits: one that is dressy and then another that is more casual everyday wear, but still nice. Raleigh really brought his A-game in that puppy tux – completely adorable =)

 

The light was absolutely perfect and Sarah and Joe are so completely in love that photographing them was a breeze. Sarah and I drove back from the session together because Joe had to head to work and it felt like we were old friends. Talking about their engagement and plans for the upcoming wedding.  Thank you both so much for a fun and beautiful engagement session. I cannot wait for your amazing September wedding, it is going to be gorgeous!!!
