School of Art Institute Wedding | Michelle & Tom

It was a perfect summer day for a School of Art Institute Wedding. Michelle and Tom both got ready at the Palmer Hotel, separately, and with those closest to them. There was a beautiful sense of ease and calm in both of their rooms. First, they opened letters from each other and as I watched the tears quietly fall down Michelle’s face as she read Tom’s words, I couldn’t help but feel giddy about these two and their incredible future together. It was the perfect start to an amazing wedding day.

As they chose not to see each other before the wedding, Tom’s eye’s locked on Michelle and didn’t pull away the second the double doors in the church opened and she walked down the aisle, accompanied by her proud father. The ceremony felt sacred as they joined hands and stood together in a church where generations of couples have been joined before them. It was a union built on a foundation of love, tradition, and reverence.

The afternoon proceeded with a trolley ride around the city to various locations for photos and ended at the School of Art Institute where they were joined by many friends and family members to commemorate this amazing day. It was an evening full of heartfelt and hilarious speeches, ear-to-ear-smiles, and a busy dance floor. Truly, a wedding day wrapped in elegance and joyful celebration.

Michelle and Tom, it was a complete honor having the opportunity to get to know you, your love story, and documenting one of the most beautiful days of your life together. My heart is so full and I am over-the-moon excited for you both! Cheers!
